RE: Captcha not working
I'm out of options then. I'm saving everything in UTF-8 without BOM, and I don't have problems like yours. My buddy is kinda GD-expert, so I'll show him this topic.

RE: Captcha not working
I saved UTF-8 without BOM only the files that are included in the register page (modules > register > index.php, captcha.php, index.php, smarty > templates > header.tpl, footer.tpl, register.tpl). I will save everything in UTF-8 without BOM now ... but it will take a while ...
Ready ... now it's working. I'd never thought that was the problem. Thanks for your help .

RE: Captcha not working
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte_order_mark#UTF-8
Quote:On any platform, a UTF-8 BOM will interfere with the interpretation of source code for compiler and tools that don't recognise it but could otherwise handle UTF-8. For example in PHP, if output buffering is disabled, it has the subtle effect of causing the page to start being sent to the browser, preventing custom headers from being specified by the PHP script. The UTF-8 representation of the BOM is the byte sequence 0xEF,0xBB,0xBF, which appears as the ISO-8859-1 characters in most text editors and web browsers not prepared to handle UTF-8. manual mmocenter phxengine Sorry for my English.
